The East Wellington Family Health Team (EWFHT) offers the opportunity to join an innovative, community-based primary health care team that has clinics in the Erin and Rockwood area.  We are looking for confident, enthusiastic and skilled team players comfortable working within a fast paced, rapidly changing, and dynamic health care environment.  We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

• RPN for permanent part-time/casual shifts in both locations
  Monday to Friday, including mornings, afternoons and evening hours
  Rotation will include some Saturday clinic shifts
• Clinical Telemedicine RPN
  Full time, Monday to Friday working in Erin, Rockwood, Fergus and Elora
• Finance/Accounting and Payroll Assistant (part time)

The ideal candidate for these positions will have demonstrated experience in:

• Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a highly interdependent team, ideally involving health professionals
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Exceptional communication (written and oral), decision making and problem solving skills
• The critical ability to multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficiency and experience working in a computerized environment
• Sound judgment, tact and  diplomacy with an emphasis on discretion and confidentiality
• The flexibility required to work in a rapidly changing environment
• Broad knowledge of community/primary health care and an appreciation of the requirements of rural health care provision
• Familiarity with East Wellington and the spectrum of health and social services available
• A licence to drive and if applicable a licence to provide health care in Ontario; and

For Nursing positions:

• Proof of up to date Immunization, CPR/AED Level-HCP
• Strong Nursing Assessment skills for Primary Care setting
• Excellent performance of medications administration, including injections and preferred venipuncture skill
